Just a suggestion, how about using Twitter to actually share information, or to share descriptive headlines that make readers actually want to click your links?
Posting stuff on twitter like "we are up!" and "website is updated!" is useless. And the actual short headlines that are four words long and don't really say anything either are almost as useless
Tell readers about store openings, actual news, etc!
